How to Join

Step 1: Come meet us! To learn how to join scouting, visit the Contact page and fill out the web form. 

Step 2: Download and complete the Youth Application form below. 

Step 3: Email or bring in your signed application to join Troop 340.

To come to your first meeting, your son or daughter does not need ANYTHING.

Eventually, they will need a uniform, scout book, and some camping gear.

Troop 340 Gear Swap

You may also be able to find what you need for free at Troop 340's semi-annual FREE gear swap. That's an event we have twice a year where you can hand down the gear you've outgrown and take any gear you need.  A scout is Thrifty.

The troop also has an amazing annual fundraiser where scouts can earn money to pay for scouting expenses.  Some of our scouts earn enough to pay for all of their scouting expenses, including buying new gear!
